This acclaimed novel-parable invites readers into the Ecuadorian rainforest, where questions of ecology, culture and the human psyche unfold in rich, poetic imagery. Through its exploration of shadow and light, aging, power and the interplay of the masculine and feminine forces, it offers a thoughtful starting point for literary and psychological reflection. Please read the book (144 pages) before our gathering to ensure a rich and engaging discussion.
