V for Vendetta is an action feature adapted from the novel by Alan Moore. It is a futuristic story of a revolution, which arises against a British authoritarian government. V, (Hugo Weaving) a man who lives in the shadows, has the will and motivation to lead the revolution. His own personal history makes him ripe for the battle ahead of him. A young woman, Evey, (Natalie Portman) becomes his unlikely ally after he rescues her from an unfriendly military police seizure. V uses inspiration from Guy Fawkes, who once confessed to a plan to blow up Westminster Palace in the 1600’s. Watch as Evey and V join forces to change a world that has become controlling and cruel.
