Instructors:  Weyler Greene & Kaitlyn Whitebread

Join us as we embark on a midsummer journey “Into the Woods” and into our deepest desires and fears. Rob Marshall directs Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Anna Kendrick, and Johnny Depp, in this Academy Award nominated adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s musical sensation. Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and the Witch, are among the infamous fairytale characters that must venture into the woods to fulfill their personal wishes. Similar to Joseph Campbell’s hero’s journey, they are called to adventure, meet each other as mentors, and face unexpected obstacles along the twisted path. While on their individual journeys, they learn valuable lessons about the psyche, the shadow, the collective unconscious, and the importance of human connection.
