Many people complain that psychotherapy is too focused on the cause of one’s problems rather than on solutions. The authors of The Tools, Phil Stutz and Barry Michaels, informed by Jungian thought, have created “tools” which clients can use to overcome their problems and transform their lives This workshop will examine some of Jung’s terms like “shadow,” “Self,” and “ego-Self axis,” “complex” and see how they can be accessed more practically as “tools.” The “tools” we will explore include: reversal of desire, active love, inner authority, the grateful flow, and jeopardy.
