“Synchronicity is an ever-present reality for those who have eyes to see.” The significant coincidence of events in a person’s life and the cycles occurring within the time of these events is synchronous.  Astrology exemplifies how coincidences hold meaning and contribute to personal growth.  From antiquity to present, humankind has ascribed characteristics and qualities to patterns and spaces visualized in the sky.  These archetypes hold residual imprints, described in the 12 houses, which continue to vibrate within the collective unconsciousness. Astrology connects their potential manifestations with energies present at birth and beyond by the timing of specific planetary cycles.

About the Instructor
Kathryn Sapoznick LCPC is a practicing astrologer and counselor located in Skokie, IL.  Kathryn has an MA in Anthropology and an MA in Counseling.  Kathryn was the Clinical Service Coordinator for Kaleidoscope’s Therapy Department.  She has community based and hospital-based experience.  Kathryn specialized in working with clients who experienced complex trauma. She worked as a trauma focused clinician with dually diagnosed, chronically mental ill, and emotionally and behaviorally disturbed clients for 13 years. Kathryn is a certified trainer for Psychological First Aid (PFA) and a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.  She is a Certified Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) Clinician.  As a certified SPARCS clinician Kathryn, in coordination with The Department of Human Services, trained and provided clinical supervision to the clinical staff on the SPARCS model that was implemented into the Juvenile Trauma Project. Kathryn has studied astrology since 1977 and has taught and lectured on astrology for over 20 years.
