This panel brings together perspectives from AA history and the lived experience of AA and Alanon members. The program will explore the historical connection between Carl Jung and the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous and how this relationship helped shape a healing process that has impacted millions.
Many who come to AA and Alanon describe a profound sense of spiritual dis-ease and unmanageability. This session will examine how these programs open the door to recovery, and why so many are drawn to their meetings and communities. Together, the panel will reflect on how psychological insight and spiritual practice meet in recovery—helping individuals move from isolation and suffering toward meaning, connection, wholeness, and the experience of the Self.
Whether you are familiar with these programs or simply curious about the journey of healing they offer, this session provides a multi-faceted exploration of recovery as a holistic path to transformation-one that speaks to the depth and complexity of being human.
