Held via Zoom
Kenneth James, PhD and Laura McGrew, LCPC
CEUs: 2.5
Climate change, disastrous and puzzling storm activity, ever-new war initiatives—today, the world seems gripped by inescapable and undecipherable chaos. Where is the organizing center promised to us by Jungian psychology? How can current events be understood as expressing transpersonal archetypal dynamics filtered through personal and cultural complexes?
Jungian analysts Laura McGrew and Ken James, long-time friends of the Jung Center, will facilitate a deep discussion of these current events, illustrating how understanding complex theory and archetypal movement can bring insight, comfort, and renewed feeling of agency to our place in the world.
Recommended Reading: Collected Works Volume 17, “The Development of Personality,” paragraphs 284 through 323.
