It appears the archetypes are running amok. To help us understand where we are and where we’re headed, it can be useful to take in the archetypal view through an astrological lens. Two primary players in 2021 are Saturn and Uranus, correlated with the Jungian archetypes of Senex and Trickster. For the next two years they are locked in battle, akin to a tyrant and rebel facing off for control over a revolution. But who is the rebel and who the tyrant? If we try to name one in any particular person or group, we quickly find the other archetype present there too.

Taken together, Saturn and Uranus represent the evolution of society. Their interactions today are similar to the times of the Civil War and the Great Depression, great crises that catalyzed great reform. During this talk we will explore this planetary interaction, what we might do to help, and why there is reason for optimism.
