Volunteer

As a small staff, the work of volunteers has been and continues to be essential to our existence. We have several types of volunteer positions at the Center. Please see below for descriptions of the positions, as well as the benefits we offer in exchange for enthusiastic volunteer efforts. (We regret we are unable to accept volunteer applications from current Clinic clients, though we honor the desire to assist the Center.)

General Volunteer Positions

• Program assistance
• Publicity
• General office assistance
• Fundraising

June Singer Clinic Volunteer Positions

• Therapist—Provide therapy to one or more clinic client (s) on an ongoing basis. Additional application required (volunteer therapists must be licensed to practice and insured in the state of Illinois)
• Clinic Therapist—Provide therapy for up to 10 clinic clients. Commitment of 10 or more hours per week. Additional application required. Must have completed Master’s level degree and passed the initial licensing exam.
• Benefits—Therapists receive biweekly group supervision by a Jungian analyst for their clinic cases. In addition, clinic therapists are eligible for individual supervision at no charge.

Committee Members

The Jung Center is always looking for energetic committee members to serve on our committees. Background experience is required.
