Instructor:  Irv Siegel and Meg Rondenet

A hero’s journey: This highly acclaimed movie depicts the very kind neighbor, Mister Fred Rogers. Many recall his program from their childhood or their children’s TV watching days. He is remembered for his red cardigan and friendly demeanor, always looking to make his quests feel welcome. He always took the opportunity to teach equality, fairness, compassion and creativity in the context of his show. This unsung hero has been an inspiration to many and now will reach an even wider audience because of this movie. It is not to be missed!

About the Instructors
Irv Siegel came to know about Jung over 20 years ago and has become a strong supporter of the Jung Center.  Irv is enthusiastic about sharing his passion for film and making Jungian topics available to the public.  He is especially interested in the process of individuation and exploring how people find the inner strength to make conscious decisions during significant crossroads in their lives.

Meg Rondenet is in her 15th year working as a school social worker in the public school system. Meg has described herself as a “compassion warrior” and a passionate advocate for children.  In her role as the school social worker, Meg has worked as an integral part of the district’s leadership team to prioritize and systematize meaningful social emotional learning opportunities for all students. Meg attributes her yearlong “Mindfulness in Schools” training as well as her own mindfulness practice as catalysts for a major mind shift in how she sees and approaches her work with children and educators.
